Roots Barbershop & Lounge was built from the ground up by childhood friends Matt and Owen—two barbers who spent years working side by side, sharpening their craft and building a shared vision. Driven by passion, dedication, and a genuine love for the game, they set out to create something of their own.
What now stands as Roots was once an abandoned antique shop, left untouched for years. When Matt and Owen first stepped inside, they saw more than what it was—they saw what it could be. With hard work and determination, they gutted the space and rebuilt it into the shop you see today.
Roots Barbershop & Lounge is now home to seven full-time barbers, each committed to their craft and to delivering quality cuts and an unmatched experience. More than just a barbershop, Roots is a place where community, culture, and consistency come together.
